Dr. Mohamad Alkassir grew up in the southwest suburbs of Chicago. Dr. K earned his bachelor's degree in Biology from Loyola University Chicago. Dr. K earned his professional degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery at Indiana University School of Dentistry. In addition to general and cosmetic dentistry, Dr. K is also certified by the American Academy of Facial Esthetics and provides treatment for TMJ, orofacial pain, and dermal fillers for facial esthetics. Dr. Alkassir continues to advance his education and knowledge and stays up to date with new technology.

If you’re looking for a great Dentist, Gentle Family Dentistry has a wonderful staff but most importantly Dr Alkassir is very thorough with his work and takes the time to explain the procedures . I have had several procedures done recently, crown, extractions, cleaning and an implant. I have had a wonderful experience here, I had absolutely no pain while I was getting my implant and it looks awesome. I would definitely recommend them.

The Gentle Family Dental office is wonderful. Friendly receptionists that make you feel like family. Always try to accommodate your appointments with work schedules. Also answer any billing / insurance concerns up front. No surprises !! I have had the pleasure of having both office hygienist clean my teeth. I never have any pain or soreness after. Dr. Alkassir takes his time in getting you numb. I have had root canals. ,posts, crowns,and several fillings. I would and do recommend this office to anyone with or without children. They have a great well lit playroom with tv. The office also offers water, and coffee.
